Ryan Stroker - Executive in the US Single Family Rental Market

Ryan Stroker had been a partner and managing director of the New York City offices of Amherst Holdings for a decade. Most recently, Ryan headed sourcing and acquisitions for their Single Family Rental effort, Amherst Residential.

Mr. Stroker’s work revolved around the identification and purchase of key assets within the American single-family property-rental market. Ryan's work was concentrating on bulk portfolios and the development of strategic relationships with regional and national partners. Amherst Residential employs processes that prioritize key assets using industry leading analytics.

Prior to working on the operating side of the SFR business, Stroker spent the prior 12 years in the capital markets. He worked at bulge-bracket investment banks, culminating at Amherst's broker-dealer where he led efforts connecting asset originators with institutional investors. Throughout his tenure, he focused on residential real estate assets, structuring $45+ billion in transactions.

Today, Stroker focuses on the future of the single family rental asset class and how to facilitate the incredible demand from institutional investors. His new venture, Avenue One (www.SFRaaS.com) is a capital light prop-tech platform that enables outsourced acquisitions and asset management for large SFR investors.
